Liu Yaping, a painter and interior designer based in Annecy, draws her inspiration from the beauty and serenity of nature. Originally from China and a graduate of the École française de décoration, she excels in Chinese watercolour, calligraphy and floral and animal painting.
Her studio, Et la lumière fut, reflects her commitment to illuminating people's minds through her art. Her work is distinguished by the exclusive use of natural, handmade paints that respect the environment and human health.
Located in Annecy, her studio also offers Chinese language, calligraphy and graphic arts classes for children. This pedagogical approach reflects her desire to pass on an artistic and cultural sensibility, while awakening the imagination of the very young through art and language.
More than an exhibition, “The Transparency of Morning” is a sensory and spiritual experience, offering visitors a moment of connection with the ephemeral beauty of the natural world.
