Photo exhibition Eau de Coco

At the start of this new year, we are hosting a photo exhibition by Patrick Drouet, for the NGO Eau de Coco.

Through these photos, let yourself be transported to southern Madagascar, a region marked by the harsh reality of poverty and inequality. The tired but resilient faces of the inhabitants bear witness to the daily challenges they face, including relentless drought, food insecurity, and limited access to basic services (water, education, healthcare, security).

This exhibition presents, on the one hand, the factors that contribute to poverty and inequality and, on the other, the means and solutions to combat them. Amidst these difficulties, a glimmer of hope emerges. Local initiatives and solidarity efforts by NGOs and associations offer prospects for change and improvement.

The association Eau de Coco and its local partner, the NGO Bel Avenir, have been working in this direction for more than 20 years and contribute each year to improving the quality of life of more than 40,000 people in Madagascar with initiatives focused on sustainable agriculture, access to healthcare, and education, breaking the cycle of poverty and bringing about positive change.

This exhibition invites reflection, awareness, and action. May these images inspire your commitment to fighting poverty and inequality, and pave the way for a bright future for all.
